Speaking directly with wine producers is the best way to learn about winemaking techniques and regional specificities. KIRA coordinates visits to winemaking regions across France, providing unrivalled learning experiences and tasting sessions, as well as valuable introductions to established and emerging winemakers.
KIRA vineyard study trips begin with a seminar to understand the fundamentals of wine production in your chosen region and introduce you to the winemakers you will meet. Visits last from three to five days and offer leading educational services in an intimate setting, in addition to regional Michelin Starred dining with winemakers and more casual meals at wine estates.
Groups are limited to a maximum of 12 professionals (such as winemakers, retailers, importers, sommeliers or serious enthusiasts) and are led by KIRA founders Franck Ramage and Charlotte King. Discover some of the winemaking regions included in our vineyard study trips on the following pages.
Vineyard transportation, wine tastings, vineyard masterclasses, meals (unless otherwise noted) and accommodation are included and adapted to the needs of each group.
